COVID-19 Updates & Policies

Like many young businesses, the rise of COVID-19 has presented Wallaroo’s with a number of difficult questions that would keep your average Philosophy Major up at night. As a business, our initial impulse is to stay open as long as possible - if we aren’t open, we can’t fulfill our mission of providing families with quality, affordable furniture. If we can’t fulfill our business mission, it becomes difficult to provide for our employees. Yet, by staying open, we’re also potentially putting our employees’ & customers’ health at risk. 


This situation becomes stickier for a company like Wallaroo’s, which has branches in different states - states that are affected in different ways by COVID-19. At this time, we are going to lean on the guidance of the respective Governor’s leadership for the states that provide a home to our locations. 


This means we've closed all our doors in Spokane, Spokane Valley, Boise, Coeur d'Alene, and Missoula.


Our employees form the cornerstone of our business; as such, we will keep the employees in affected areas on payroll as long as possible. We’re fortunate to have the resources to do so, though, like all resources, they are limited.


We wish all the folks and families affected by COVID-19 the best, and look forward to the day we can all congregate again. COVID-19 has already taken much from the community, having wreaked havoc on our friends in the service industry in the last week. Music and art gatherings have been cancelled, directly affecting the livelihood of those folks. There are trying, difficult times ahead. 


But, know this, too: even if we can’t see each other, we can grow stronger together. 


So in the next few weeks, make sure you keep growing. When we get through this, and we will, we promise to show you all how we’ve grown - and to serve up some crazy hot dealz.
